June Meeting – The Two Brewers Pub, Marlow

We are pleased to announce that our next scheduled event on Friday 16th June will be hosted at the Two Brewers in St Peter Street, Marlow.

For those not familiar, the Brewers is one of the oldest pubs in Marlow dating from the early 1700’s.  Kick off will be 1900 to give time to get drinks prior to food being served about half an hour later.

Parking on the street is very limited and some is resident only but Court Garden car park is adjacent to Higginson Park and this is only a 5 minute walk from the pub. The proposal is to use a room they have upstairs for our event and for the food element to consist of a finger buffet. There is also a large outside area should anyone feel the need for a little fresh air. Drinks will be purchased at the bar as required by individuals.

We really hope the membership will be keen to sample this relaxed setting and feel that The Two Brewers is a fine location to kick things off. We will shortly announce our plans for later social events informed by the survey feedback. Recognising the need for the Club to pay a deposit for the venue, the cut off for sign up for this event is by close of play on 24th May and the cost will be £18.50 per person for the buffet which will be payable to the club account on sign up.
